Frank Lloyd Wright house moved to Western Pennsylvania
http://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinations/2007-09-27-new-wright-home_N... The Duncan house, A FLW house designed in Illinois, was recently moved to western Pennsylvania, within 30 miles of two other houses of his -- Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. That there are three Wright houses in such close proximity is terrific and would even make the 4-5 hour drive from NYC worth it. Duncan and Kentuck Knob are Usonian, but I am more of a fan of his Prairie Houses. What about you? PS Only losers will go with Usonian. just kidding -- ha!!

Wright

Wright was a brilliant architect, in that he actually developed a wholistic approach in his own vision. Prarie, Usonian- both are respectable. I just don't prefer the aesthetic! ;) Thanks for the news! I wonder if that part of PA will become a serious haven for trans-located Wright works.
