New York's Plaza Hotel throws itself 100th birthday party yesterday
http://www.nypost.com/seven/10022007/news/regionalnews/100th_party_plaza... Though it will soon be re-opening as mostly condos, it will be great to have this New York institution back, even with it's smaller component... This iconic building has the standard-bearer of luxury hospitality in the city for generations. Though there are more modern and to some, better looking hotels, the Plaza is arguably the U.S.'s most famous hotel. Do you think it's stature will be diminished in its new incarnation, and do you think there are other hotels that can be thrown into the conversation of "most famous?"
