THE NEW TOWN AT ST. CHARLES
Innovative Practices in Development
Presented by The Seaside Institute & Whittaker Builders
The New Town at St. Charles
Innovative Practices in Development
Featuring Keynote Speaker Andrés Duany
AUGUST 14 - 15, 2008
Many
communities, like New Town, are newly experiencing adoption of
traditional neighborhood design as an option to their land use
plan. Changes in architectural and development design, mixes of
land use, street connectivity, open space and other development
standards are often complex and require whole new skill sets.
The New
Town at St. Charles is hosting The Seaside Institute's seminar,
Innovative Practices in Development, in order to learn how to apply
these land use options. For anyone involved in the urban
development process - architects, planners, elected and appointed
officials, developers, builders, consultants, marketers, realtors,
civic activists and others - this seminar is a timely and informative
event.
