Much has been written and said about the momentus project at 15 Central Park West designed by Robert A.M. Stern - everyone from the New York Times, curbed.com, and Vanity Fair has commented on the unprecedented real estate prices being paid, the aura of the limestone, the impressive lobby, the stars who have bought into the project, the developer Zeckendorfs, and how the building's top looks like a larger version of another New York building, 1040 Fifth Avenue by Candela.
This picture in Vanity Fair takes the cake, though, akin to Robert Stern's infamous yellow socks.
Kudos to the Zeckendorfs and to Dean Stern. I've enjoyed the hype and look forward to more.
