I wonder how the current state of the American economy has affected employment of architectural staff. Drop a line here.
I know of several NYC firms who have had to drop staff, architectural or otherwise.

I am in Kansas City, and know of 6 firms that have cut staff. I am one of them!
Sorry to hear it...
I wonder if widespread layoffs will lead architects to pursue other careers.

I wonder how long this downturn will last. I have a rather uneasy feeling as I am in school-- and hoping it gets better before I seek employment.
